Abstract
This research is titled ((Classification of sounds in terms of their effects in Kurdish language)), The scope of the research includes Central Kurdish (Sorani) Dialect. Therefore, the examples presented here are relevant to this dialect and they are analysed according to Synchronic-Analytic method. The research generally demonstrates that the sounds of the language has effects on each other, but the rate of the effect of the sounds on each other is different from one language to another, because the appropriate and inappropriate rates of coming and not coming to the sounds and change in syllable forms when the sounds occur together-which varies according to the phonotactic rules of each language, appears in a different way, and in this aspect, the research focuses on the fact that our language sounds are effectively classified on each other also in this aspect, it will explain the difference between the sounds of the vowel , consonant and semi-vowel/consonant, it will also define the boundaries and center of the vocal changes, Accordingly, the study is divided into three sections: Section one is an introduction to the topic. Section two categorization of sounds in terms of their effects,boundaries and center of vocal changes.Section three the classification of sounds in terms of their effects in the Kurdish language.
