Abstract

The study aimed to identify the effect of the reciprocal method of random exercise in learning some skills of the floor movements in artistic gymnastics for female students among the members of the research sample.
The researcher assumed the following:
1- There are statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-test for the control group and experimental group(random)  in favor of the post-test.
2- There are statistically significant differences between the control group and the experimental group (random) in the post test in favor of the experimental group.
The researcher used the experimental method for its suitability to the nature of the research. The research sample included (30) female students of the second stage in the College of Education and Sports Sciences / University of Diyala and after conducting pre-tests for the skills under research and after applying the educational curriculum and then post-tests and after using the appropriate statistical methods were completed. Access to the search results, which are:
1- The validity and effectiveness of the exercises contained in the applied educational curriculum, which are characterized by repetition, diversity, fragmentation, and gradation from easy to difficult in teaching the skills under study.
2- The educational curriculum (the reciprocal method) by random exercise led to the learning of all the motor skills under study.
The most important recommendations were:
1- Diversifying teaching and learning methods in order to achieve suspense and motivation to learn.
2- Diversifying teaching and learning methods in the faculties of physical education to broaden the horizons of students and not be limited to traditional methods.
