Abstract

What we notice through the novels of "Jan Dost", the characters of his novels touch on tendencies that were clearly prevalent in Kurdish society at the time, or still are. In order for the result to be an epistemological divide separating the two environments and dividing the national identity into different sub-identities, we feel the details of these tendencies, as some of them are related to a wider circle such as the view of the Kurdish society, its jurisprudence, and its understanding of the Islamic religion.
