Abstract

This research, labeled (the contextual reasons for the emergence of the phenomenon of "narrative opposition" in the contemporary Arab novelist's discourse), is summarized as a unique and new study that sheds light on the phenomenon of (narrative opposition) as a new artistic style developed in the contemporary Arab narrative narrative, invented and employed by a group of Distinguished Arab novelists in the past ten years, because of the wide horizons it provides them with to express the most important political, intellectual and social developments and transformations in the Arab region, and because of what it provides of new artistic means of expression. By benefiting from the intellectual and artistic heritage of the most important international novel classics, we clarified the concept of novel opposition and the most important contextual reasons that led to its emergence, and we delved into the most important developments and political and social changes that occurred in the Arab region, whose impact was reflected on all human productions, including literature, especially the genre of the novel. As the literary genres most affected by and influencing living contexts , Therefore, we stopped at the most important political and social reasons that affected the development of the contemporary Arabic novel through the introduction of new drafting methods, the most important of which is (narrative opposition)
