Abstract
Music is the structure, and the base of poetry. Music is regarded as a balance for poetry, because of music the rhythm, and all of the none balanced branches that create poetry will be balanced. Meter is another important feature of poetry , because of it’s characteristics there is a chance to differentiate between poetry ,and other genres of literature. Meter has a role in constructing , and creating the outside music of poetry in general , and classical poetry in particular. This role is created by dividing the poems into short, long feet ,practical sections, repeating the time periods, and the Aruzi stops. This point creates an idea to look at meter from the musical point of view ,and put it as one of the main bases for musical poetry. This research is titled "Meter music ,and the meter patterns of Hamdi's poetry". It is also an attempt to identify ,and show the music of poetry ,and the patterns of "Hamdi’s” poetry. The research is prepared according to the method of (Analyzing Description). It consists of an introduction, and two parts. In the first part, the concepts, and terms of music ,and meter are discussed, and the viewpoint of a number of writers have been presented regarding this content. Also In terms of meter , the meter of Arabic Aruzi is mentioned , and discussed. The second part is a practical part, the music of each of the meter patterns has been shown that Hamdi has used in his poems. The meter patterns include (Alhazaj, Alramal, Almuzari, Almutaqrib, Alkhafif, Alrajaz, Almujtas). Then the rate of each of these patterns has been shown
