Abstract

Interestingly, the post-September revolution period (1961-1975) in the modern history of Kurdistan, especially in all it different parts and regions, in itself ,the period is so sensitive that the collapse of the revolution was a severe blow to the entire Kurdish People’s Liberation Movement. This research is historical looking at the aftermath of the revolution, especially the impact of the revolution in south Kurdistan and also at the outbreak of the revolution and the changes in South Kurdistan on the eastern part of Kurdistan.
The research is made up of an introduction, two main sections and the results. The first section is a historical investigation/research on “The situation after signing of Algiers Agreement in 1975”. The second section is “The Impact of Establishing Parties and Organizations in South Kurdistan on Kurds in Eastern Kurdistan”. However, the second section is divided into two different parts: The first is entitled “ Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and its components” While the second is a historical investigation on the establishment of “ Provisional Leadership of Kurdistan Democratic Party”, known in recent Kurdish history as “Provisional Leadership.” Finally, I hope that the research sheds new lights on the contemporary history of the Kurdish people in the aforementioned stage
