Abstract

The researcher is trying to conduct sociological analysis of the understanding and believing superstitions by the kurdish sociologists and teachers. Superstition is used as scientific and non-logical term, it is presented as a sacred religious story using a very simple language and talking about past events. The story is carried out verbally through generations; it also could be transferred between nations with exagger rations and changes in some parts of the story.
Overall, this paper is a result of an approach of field analysis that aims to understand and evaluate the existence of superstition also its quantity, style and level in Kurdish educators.
The paper consists of two parts: first part is dedicated to the theoretical approach of the research which is divided in to three sections:
The first section puts light on the importance of the research, goals, Scope and definitions of terms.
Section two consists of the formation of superstition, superstition in new societies and the differences between superstition and legends.
Section three Discourses about differences between logical and non-logical or the superstitious mentality of Kurdish educators.
Part two is dedicated to the practical approach of the research and it talks about the method of the research, society of the research and lastly the sample of the research which is mainly consist of 250 educational workers(males-females) that are working in 50 different schools (educational center). The researcher collected the information in veracity and total immutability while working in the field and lastly the list of the sources, index and a summary of the research in both Arabic and English language is presented.
