Abstract

Religion was a way of the great countries  plan to impose their Powers in Kurdistan  , because this is an economically rich region located on the trade routes betwen east and west, and a section of its population, Jews and Christians of all walks of life. Great countries may try under the petext of protecting Christians and im posing their powers in Kurdistan, and declare the the campaign against the Kurds because of their attacks against Christians, Although the Ottoman Empire may give the rights of Jews and Christians according to the Mullah rgime, But it did not reduce the pressures of the great states, so betwen the years (1839-1876) the state tooke out some data to reduce these are sure to protect Jews and Christians from the attacks of the Kurds and the Sherks, I have allocated my article(16-61)in the treaties Sanstefano and Berlin, the Kurds may declear against the articles under the pretext of a means by the  great states of the occupation of Kurdistan, But in(1914), it my try to appoint two foreign rulers in the region to enforce the law, which was rejected by the Ottoman Empire.
The reason behind choosing this topic is there is not special research in universities on the subject, despite the may sources that refer to the attacks of Kurds and  Sherkas against Christians, and we have relied in this research on the historical curriculum and some other curricul such as Ranky and Analysis.
This study had a number of limitations. Firstly, shortage of academic and scientific sources in Kurdish was a big obstacle. This made the researcher get sources from other languages and translate them into Kurdish which was very difficult and time consuming. Secondly, Covid 19 was another big obstacle that led to closing many libraries for a long period of time; besides, the researcher himself was a victim of Covid 19.
Finally, this study consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. Chapter one focuses on the conflicts between the great countries and their flow to Kurdistan, and the second Chapter  is about the organizations (1839-1876), the rights contined for Christians in the reform statements, and the last research summarized the attempts of the great states with reason  to  preserve  Christians from the attacks of Kurds and Cherks and their pressure on the Ottoman Empire The study ends with presenting the conclusion of the study .
