The topics of the research include introducing the concept of intellectual persistence and presenting its causes, appearances and effects. Finally, the research has reached several important conclusions and is summarized in several points wet, including family, educational, psychological, religious, economic, political and media factors; They play a major role in the creation and development of intellectual persistence. The most important characteristics of persistent people are: nervousness of opinion, dogmatism, intellectual rigidity, harshness and rigidity in behavior. Intellectual persistence affects individuals' thoughts and behavior. It also leads to family breakdown and loss of social relationships. It also affects the development of society and creates disorder in the social system and security of society.
