This paper, "A Sociological Interpretation of Intellectual Depression - Its Causes, Appearances and Effects", is an attempt to introduce intellectual depression from a sociological perspective, because intellectual depression is one of these phenomena in the past and present Global socialism has affected most societies and has had a direct impact on individuals, families and societies . . . . Despite the progress and positive changes in human life in the new society, but still threatens the peace and stability of the family and society, so it is important to research, in order to reveal social causes T and educational, religious and media intellectual and knowledge pursuits Its appearance and effects on the individual, family and society.
In this study, the descriptive analytical method was used. The topics of the research include introducing the concept of intellectual persistence and presenting its causes, appearances and effects. Finally, the research has reached several important conclusions and is summarized in several points wet, including family, educational, psychological, religious, economic, political and media factors; They play a major role in the creation and development of intellectual persistence. The most important characteristics of persistent people are: nervousness of opinion, dogmatism, intellectual rigidity, harshness and rigidity in behavior. Intellectual persistence affects individuals' thoughts and behavior. It also leads to family breakdown and loss of social relationships. It also affects the development of society and creates disorder in the social system and security of society.
