The study aims to uncover social interaction, and its relationship to academic achievement among students of the school of Education, scientific departments, University of Garmiyan, through the subsequent main question:
- What's the connection between social interaction and academic achievement of students?
From which the following sub-questions emerge:
Does the cooperation between the student and his colleagues contribute to academic achievement at the undergraduate level?
Does the adaptation between the student and his colleagues contribute to academic achievement at the undergraduate level?
Does the competition between the student and his colleagues contribute to academic achievement at the undergraduate level?
To answer the following question, we have put forward hypothesis as follows:
The cooperation among the student and their colleagues contributes in the academic achievement of scientific department in college education.
The adaption among the student and their colleagues contributes in the academic achievement of scientific department in college education.
The competition among the student and their colleagues contributes in the academic achievement of scientific department in college education.
The nature of the study necessitated following the descriptive approach, with the utilization of a group of research techniques to get field data, interview, and others where the questionnaire was one among the foremost prominent and was applied to the study population.
The study population consists of students from the college of Education, scientific departments, University of Garmiyan, and therefore, the sample size were (147) male and female students.
The subsequent results were concluded:
The first hypothesis is fulfilled, that is, the cooperation between the student and his colleagues contributes to the student's academic achievement.
The validity of the second hypothesis, that is, the adaptation between the student and his colleagues contributes to the student's academic achievement.
The validity of the third hypothesis, that is, the competition between the student and his colleagues contributes to the student's academic achievement
