Abstract

The poet Khalil Hawi was unique in presenting some of his poems with a prose or poetic text from him or borrowed from sources (mythical, mythological, religious or literary). We called them the accompanying premises. Our research, which is tagged with (The Accompanying Introductions in Khalil Hawi’s Poetry - a semiotic study), studies those premises as a semiotic study, Based on the semiotic method of Rifater to show their connotations, and their multiple functions in terms of identification and intertextuality, through Heuristik and Hermeneutik readings.
