Abstract

The research aims to: analyze the path of the general budget and trade balance in Iraq for the period 2004-2022) and to reach the goal of the research, the (deductive) approach was used to employ concepts and theories for the analysis process, as well as the (inductive) approach in order to employ statistical models and the (analytical - standard) method. (using the E-views 12 program) The research reached several conclusions, including a clear and significant impact of oil prices on the general budget, with their rise and fall having a positive and negative impact on both sides of the general budget. It also becomes clear that there is a direct relationship between all the variables investigated with the rate of exports and imports, and these results are consistent with theory and economic logic.
