This paper is dedicated to Kurdish interrogative sentences and Central dialect and within the limits of syntax and pragmatics because expressive function refers to the major of language action theories. In addition, scholars have to take into consideration of phonological and morphological aspects. However, this article attempts to explain the general rules and principles governing and principles the correlation between speaker, listener and speech environment, because interrogative does not just refer to getting knowledge and Filling knowledge gaps. It plays a fundamental role in conveying the sender’s intention and his various opinions. How such sentences produce depends on the mind of the speakers of the language, depending on the different circumstances and environments that each particular expression brings about.
The main lines of this study use the appropriate analytical methods and research. Apart from the introduction, which is the beginning of the discussion, it divides into two parts: the first part focuses on the syntactic study of interrogative sentences, and the second part is devoted to identifying some of the pragmatic meanings of interrogative. Eventually, the author sheds light on the achieved outcomes, the listing of sources and the summary used at the end of this paper.
