Abstract

This study aimed to reveal the level of psychological resilience and characteristics of avoidant personality, and to reveal the relationship between psychological resilience and avoidant personality characteristics in people with special needs. To achieve the objectives of the study, the psychological resilience scale was prepared, as was the use of the avoidance personality scale (Mohammed, 2019), and the study sample consisted of (207) individuals with special needs, selected by the class intentional method, and used statistical means (Pearson correlation coefficient, standard deviation, arithmetic average, spss) and the results showed the presence of significant levels of psychological resilience and avoidant personality characteristics in people with special needs, and the existence of a positive function relationship between psychological resilience and characteristics Avoidant personality .
