Abstract

In this research, we dealt with Ibn Yaish's grammatical approach in transmitting from the sources that were written before him, so we presented the method of taking it from those sources, and he, in turn, is keen to preserve scientific honesty, as he attributes much of what he transmitted to his companions. This research is an attempt to monitor some of the issues that Ibn Yaish transmitted from his predecessors, and he did not mention their names. Through research, we have shed light on three main sources, which we mentioned in our research, after research and scrutiny. We also mentioned the places he mentioned verbally and the places he mentioned with a slight change in some of their words. Note that the phenomenon of transmission by grammarians and linguists among the contemporaries of Ibn Yaish may lead us not to blame Ibn Yaish for what he had written, due to its popularity among his contemporaries of grammarians and linguists.
