Abstract

The acute, dense and special style of the poetry of Nali (1800- 1879), obliges researcher to approach his poetic texts from different perspectives, and this is the main reason behind choosing the title of the article. This is because, although several works have been conducted on Nali’s poetry, still there are wide ranges of areas in Nali’s poetry which have not been approached stylistically. The aim of this research is to indicate and show some general and specific aspects in Nali’s poetry style and the paper’s framework is to show style of the Kurdish poems of this poet.
              This article approaches (Some characteristics of Nali's poetry style) through the method of (Descriptive Analysis), which is composed of an introduction, two main parts, conclusion and the works cited list. The first part is dedicated for the term, concept, and a brief history of stylistics. The second part approaches Nali’s poetry style on the level of sound, rhyme (internal and external rhyme), and then on the level of language and imagery; the poetic language and artistic imagery in Nali’s
