Abstract
the industrial sector is one of the main branches of important economic activities that has helped to develop cities and their economic prosperity. The service industries are one of those industries that are linked to the size and the level of the living of the urban economy. According to the Iraqi Industrial Activity Guide, the industrial services is classified within community services and social services. While, the International Classification (ISIC) ranks industrial services in the category of non-core industrial activities. The importance of this research can be felt through the services that they provide to the initiators as well as their importance in providing jobs to the population. The research problem can be specified to the lack of some industrial service owners in the city adhere to the controls of the use of land allocated to them in the planned industrial area. This research aims to identify the reality of industrial services in the city by studying geographical design and analyzing the structure of industrial services in the city of Soran. The methodology of the study is based on the two approaches: the inductive approach and the method of education, and has relied on the quantitative and statistical method represented by the statistical program SPSS. This research is divided into five major parts despite the introduction, conclusions, recommendations. It includes a range of services in the study area, including (industrial services for vehicles - blacksmithing and carpentry - engineering industrial services - textile industrial services).
