Abstract

Contribution to the crime is the commission of a crime by a number of people where the responsibility of each person is determined according to the role they play in committing the crime. If the accused carries out the physical behaviour of the crime then he will be considered the actor and the main perpetrator is realized. If he plays a secondary role outside the material behavior of the crime, he is an accomplice and the accessory contribution is attained.
As a general rule, the accomplice in the crime takes their crime from the main actor. However, there is a possibility that the accused has a status that can affect the adaptation of conduct of the participating people in the crime; perpetrators or partners, with the related law. Hence, based on the crime committed their punishment can be heightened or mitigated. Also, the accomplice’s role in the crime of the main perpetrator with the certain status as well as participation of the accused in the crime of partners with certain status may cause some legal issues regarding classifying the actions of the participating parties in the crime and their sentence.
