Abstract
This research is a model to show the genius of Imam Ibn Hibban in the field of reconciling contradictory hadiths, and I have summarized it in several of the following points:
1- In it, I mentioned an introduction to the hadith, its status and honorable rank.
2- In it, I mentioned the life of Imam Abu Hatim Ibn Hibban, who is Muhammad bin Hibban, known as Ibn Hibban Al-Basti Al-Darimi Al-Tamimi, the undisputed Imam of his time.
3 – I mentioned the definition of Sahih Ibn Hibban, which is one of the books considered by scholars, which is more correct than the book of Al-Mustadrak on the two Sahihs, as for the presentation of Ibn Khuzaymah and Sahih Ibn Hibban one on the other, they differed some of them presented Ibn Khuzaymah on Ibn Hibban in the degree of health, and some of them presented Ibn Hibban on Ibn Khuzaima.
4- I mentioned the definition of conflict in language and terminology, and this science is one of the most accurate and closed sciences of hadith, it is a sea whose water does not stop, all scientists are forced to know, but it complements the imams divers for the industries of hadith and jurisprudence.
And that the contradiction between the hadiths occurs on the face of it, but in fact there is no contradiction between the legal texts without dispute, because they are all revelations from God the Mighty and the Wise.
5- I mentioned how the number of rak'ahs prayed by the Prophet Zaz at night Nafl, Imam Ibn Hibban has separated in that, he mentioned many hadiths and then commented on them, and their summary has been stated in most of the narrations that he prayed at night eleven rak'ahs, and perhaps he prayed thirteen, and fifteen, and it was narrated about him that he prayed nine, and prayed seven or five, depending on the activity and ability, and all of it is permissible and God knows best, we have mentioned it in the content.
