Abstract

This research is prepared under the title of (The role of Phonemics in changing meanings), the research was taken place and derived in the border of southern Kirmanji dialect, but necessarily for more approvement and clarification the other dialects and in some occasions other languages such as English, Arabic and Persian as supporting instance are utilized. At the same time, the intense of the scientific topic falls into the phonology, but for advocating the proving process the topic crosses into other levels of the language which are: morphology, syntax and semantics. The purpose of the research is mainly emphasizing the duties of Kurdish segmental phonemes and suprasegmental phonemes. It is an endeavor to emerge the some of the invisible aspects of language phonemic. The importance of the visibility action of phonemics is to attain more familiarities with phonemics and its status in Kurdish, because some of the phonemics change its status in the context of phrase, words and sentences without changing the meaning of the word. Additionally, changing sound and phonemics lead to change meanings, not only in Kurdish but also in languages in general. For this reason, a precise investigation has been done for this purpose in this in research. This specialty of phonemic paves the road to approach a standard Kurdish language.
