Abstract
This research, under the title (The Relationship between Semantic Roles and Syntactic Functions), in the Sulaymaniyah dialect - middle Kurmanji , is an attempt to identify the different semantic functions, which each (subject, object, adverbal) takes within the limits of the sentence. The research was carried out within the functional school and the theory (theta), which was carried out in Chomsky's theory of transmission and productivity rules. The research reached several results, one of which is that the moral roles are not related to the grammatical position of the frieze, that is, the frieze is in any syntactic position, so there is no change in its moral role, unlike its grammatical function associated with the site.
