This research is entitled "Phonetic and Phonological Processes in Kurdish (Central Dialect)", which is a study of phonology in morphological and syntactic structures. In particular, it is the study of the rules of compound and derivational word processes; and the distinction between the rules of morphological and syntactical processes. The aim of the study is to present the relationship of lexicon and phonology to internal morphological structure and to syntactic structure. Moreover, the research is applied to the linguistic system of Kurdish Central Dialect. The synchronous approach of the research is descriptive analysis and comparative approach. Moreover, Empirical research is conducted on examples and data of the language data are taken from the speech of Kurdish speakers of the Central Kurdish dialect-Slemani; and the research of grammarians and linguists on this language will be used. The research is implemented and interpreted according to the theory of lexical phonology and morphology.
The research consists of two main parts besides introduction and conclusion.
Part One: Deals with phonetics and phonology from the perspective of the theory of lexical phonology and morphology.
Part 2: Studies on the rules of phonological and phonetics processes with necessary examples in Kurdish language.
