The research aims to show the extent of the impact of the tectonic activity of the Bardda Sur fold on the small water basins located northeast of the city of Kalar, by relying on geomorphological indicators represented by (AF, T, SL, SMF, VF, IRAT). It is also important for this research that it shows the continuity The effectiveness of tectonic activities through these equations. The research was based on the digital elevation map (DEM12.5m), using the program (ArcGIS.v.10.8), using satellite images from the Landsat satellite (Landsat 8-9_OLI/TIRS C2 L2) dated (09/16/2023). -9/18/2023), by using a measure of geomorphological indicators along the prevailing water valleys in the region, in order to extract the values of the approved indicators, as the indicator showed relative tectonic activities (IRAT), which is the final result combining the results of all geomorphological indicators, which gave us A comprehensive look at the impact of these geomorphological indicators on tectonic activities in the study area, as the water basins fell into the three categories of (high, medium, and low tectonic activity), but most of the basins fell into the moderate category with (5) basins, and therefore the study recommends the possibility of communicating investment and environmental development. In the region, this is what was revealed by the geomorphological indicators of the water basins affected by tectonic activity, that they are stable and have little environmental impact due to the region reaching the stage of balance and geomorphological stability. We recommend conducting extensive studies on the geomorphological risks to which the Bardda Sur fold area is exposed.
