Water crisis is a global problem today and many parts of the world are suffering from water crisis and lack of access to safe water. March 22 is celebrated as World Water Day every year to encourage countries to solve the water resource management crisis. On the other hand, water consumption has increased in recent years due to increased population growth and water use in various fields such as agriculture and industry Water Lack of proper management of water resources leads to water crisis, however, the occurrence of drought will strengthen the phenomenon, and this has different dimensions such as environmental, economic and social. Garmian district is located in the southeast of the Kurdistan Region and is close to the central regions of Iraq, which have a desert characteristics and climate in the semi-arid region and uncertain rainfall, so in recent years the symptoms of water crisis and drought.
