Gamrian territory includes a large area from the southeast to the northwest of the Iraq-Kurdistan Region. There are different opinions on the name of the geographical boundaries of Garmian territory, so this study is an important scientific attempt to determinate the natural boundary of Garmian territory. Among the natural privacy to distinguish from Garmian territory from desert regions are high, low, climate, and natural vegetation.
The research includes two main topics, namely determining the natural boundaries of Garmian territory in Iraq-Kurdistan regions and the administrations units of Garmian territory in Kurdistan region. The results of the study, revealed that Garmian territory covers a large area of Iraqi Kurdistan Region, which comprises an area of 56267.24 km2 and extends from the southeast to the northwest of the region. There are no differences between the dialects of Garmian and Garmaser. The difference is attributed to both sides of Sirwan river, in which on the side on the east of Sirwan river mostly they use Garmaser dialects, whereas on the west side of the river mostly they use Garmian.
