The paper entitled “Ahmadi Shakali's Viewpoints of the Prophet of God” attempts to present one of the main contents of Kurdish poetry, which is religious content. This has long existed and for this purpose poets have devoted some of their texts. Poetry has been considered a high literary genre since the time of the Greeks. It had various roles and its magic and influence have been felt by philosophers and literary critics either as an artistic aspect and aesthetic virtue or as a pleasure and value, which the poets utilize and influences the readers’ mind and heart. Simultaneously, it is a meaningful cognitive aspect that has a multidimensional content, where each dimension owns its thought, aim, and purpose.
Ahmadi Shakeli is the most prominent Kurdish poet in Garmian, who has many religious-oriented poems. He has intended to express his love for the religion and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Meanwhile, he inclined to express the qualities and characteristics of the Prophet through texts in order for the readers to get benefits in terms of mundane life or spiritually.
