It is noteworthy that Alaeddin Sajjadi is considered one of the most prominent Kurdish inventors and pioneers of the last century in the Iraqi intellectual community in general and South Kurdistan in particular, as an expert religious figure. He is a writer, journalist and a multi-dimensional researcher in the academic field of Kurdish and Iraqi journalism
In many significant differences, a number of unique products and various important projects have been successfully completed. All of which have been accompanied by in the past and present, as a source and as an original classical product in the center of literature, history and cultural work of Iraqi and Kurdish. On the other hand, many of the important works and writings of this great Kurdish intellectual have remained as raw intellectual tools and have not been subjected to proper academic research and serious investigation. It is worth mentioning that this research: (Sajjadi and cultural and historical developments in Garmian and Khanaqi region in Galawezh magazine 1939-1949) which is an important part of the journalistic work of Ibrahim Ahmad and Alaeddin Sajjadi, as well as the continuous financial support of Ali Kamal Beg, has its own uniqueness in the history of Kurdish journalism. It requires dozens of researches and various scientific investigations to clarify the unclear aspects for the reader and Kurdish intellectuals.
It is worth mentioning that as a historical researcher, I have largely emphasized the role of Alaeddin Sajjadi and reflects of his cultural and historical work in this important area of South Kurdistan especially in Garmian and Khanaqin areas. The study is divided into several main topics.
The first topic “Alaeddin Sajjadi's life and new historical experience” in which some new aspects of the work and life of this great Kurdish intellectual are explained, while the second topic is mainly devoted to “The elite of Garmian and Khanaqi region in Galawezh magazine 1939-1949”, which includes more two main topics, the first of which is: “A historical and intellectual history of Garmian and Khanaqi region” especially before the publication of Galawezh magazine. The second topic emphasis on: “The publication of Galawezh magazine and the Kurdish intellectual movement in Garmian and Khanaqi region”, But the next article is a literary and dictionary follow-up about: "Reflects of works and writings of Jaf’s families in Kalar in Galawezh magazine"
The fourth and final part of this research is a historical investigation of the course of historical events in the region, as well as the way it is reflected and recorded in the writing and journalistic work of Alaeddin Sajjadi in Galawezh magazine. But what needs to be said here is that we must thank our dear brother from our heart Mr. Mohammad Danesh Alaeddin Sajjadi who kindly helped us with a number of manuscripts, new and interesting information, as well as a number of unique documents and important historical photographs which enriched our research more and more. I hope that I have been able to present some historical information and background of this period and in this field of history and life of Sajjadi.
