Abstract

    The morphological structures in the Holy Quran and understanding their exact denotations have received the researchers’ attention between past and present. The change in the construction of the word often changes its meaning. In addition, the different forms usually highlight the meaning showing what the words mean. Due to the importance of this topic and the need of the Arabic library of the studies of the morphological structures of the words and their denotations, we deemed studying “fiaal” as an infinitive form in the Holy Quran morphologically; as we did not stop a previous independent study we dealt with before. Actually, this scientific material necessitates dividing it into three sections. In the first section we talk about “fiaal” form according to the morphologists. The second section is devoted to the morphological and semantic study. As for the third section, it is devoted to the “fiaal” form in the Quranic recitations and its impact on meaning.
