The “Ark” Story Collection represents a women's literary experience that reflects the bitter reality experienced by Iraqi society since the decade of the sixties of the last century, so our study tagged with (The Realism in the short stories of Sabiha Shibr, “Ark” Collection as a model) came to investigate the manifestations of realism in its different directions in the stories of the group, relying in its analysis on historical data, especially political and social ones, through the realism of events, characters, time, place and narrative style.
