     The current study attempts to introduce and expose the role and importance of in the aforementioned dramatic text .
Undoubtedly, place is an integral part of dramatic space and no dramatic text can exist and be performed without the element of place. It is the main arena of the events and the plot in the text as well as the introduction of the characters through which the playwright seeks to get his / her message across to the reader / viewer.
The study comprises an introduction as well as two main parts appended by conclusions and references list. The first part is theoretical background and includes the following topics :

The relation of myth to dramatic text.
The Gorge of Baba (Tuni baba): a historical overview.
The concept and definition of place.
Types and characterization of place.

The second part, however, is devoted to the practical analysis of the text from the perspective of place.
