Abstract
This conducted study on " the Reflection of Tuhfat al-Ahbab in Persian literature " which is devoted to discussing and investigating the Masnavi of Tahfa al-Ahbab by Sheikh Obaidullah Nahri, because in contemporary Kurdish history, Obaidullah Nahri is more known as a revolutionary and valiant leader. Less has been mentioned about his poetic life, literary works and poems, especially his Masnavi. This Masnavi was rewritten under the influence of the spiritual Masnavi of Maulana Rumi; and the poet presented the Sufi and national beliefs of the followers of the Naqshbandi Tariqa on the same method and style. What is obvious among the poets is mentioning the names and influence of Persian-speaking poets such as Wafaee, Hafiz and Jami. The reason for choosing this topic is that there has been no research examines the poems of Sheikh Obaidullah Nahri in Kurdish and this scientific effort is the beginning of further research on the content and style of his poems.
The content of this study except the introduction and conclusion, consists of two main topics: since the poetic lines in the Masnavi of Tuhfat al-Ahbab are the main source of the year, place of birth and origin of the poet Sheikh Obeidulah Nahri, the first one discusses the bibliographical and experience of Sheikh Obeidula Nahri. The second topic elucidates the poetic style and the influence of Persian literature and Persian-speaking poets on the poetry and poetic style of Sheikh Obaidullah Nahri. Such an impact is examined and discussed meticulously on the poetic work of Tuhfat al-Ahbab.
