The Aftermath of the Armenian Genocide and the Holocaust: A Comparative Study %K Genocide %K modern history %K Armenian and the Holocaust %R 10.24271/garmian.196361 %X In the era of twentieth century, most of chemical attacks and mass killings happened; the Armenian genocide and the Holocaust were two of them. These two genocides led to the deaths of about seven million people. The first genocide of 20th century was Armenian genocide which was done by the Ottoman Empire, Three decades later another genocide happened by Hitler regime against the Jews from 1939 to 1945.   This topic still demands attention from historians to analyze the effects of these mass killing of the nations and pass them to the new generation. There are a number of similarities and differences between the aftermaths of these two genocides. This paper analyses the situation of both genocides after the first and second world wars, and discusses the attitudes of the Allies for each event. It also focuses more on the aftermath of both nations.  The aim is to compare the aftermath of the Armenian genocide and the Holocaust in terms of trials, denials and reparations. %U https://jgu.garmian.edu.krd/article_99472_9907367600af94e744a71585900c1037.pdf
