The present study is aimed at depicting the assessment of online teaching process in the viewpoint of the lecturers of University of Garmian; shedding light on the assessment of online teaching process in the viewpoint of the students of University of Garmian; showing the opinion of the lecturers of University of Garmian on studying online; and investigating the opinion of the students of University of Garmian on studying online.
To achieve the aforementioned aims, the researcher has applied (social descriptive survey), the field of the study includes all of the students and lecturers of the college of education in University of Garmian for the academic year 2020-2021, the total of 323 lecturers and 4954 students; taking a random sample of 0.11% (36) lecturers and 0.47% (237) students. The researcher's criterion for (The Process of Online Teaching from the Viewpoint of Lecturers and Students) is based on 4 fields for lecturers and 6 fields for students. The criterion of lecturer and student opinion for online study consists of 25 sections for students and 25 sections for teachers summing up truth, statistics and diversity for each criterion. To sum up the statistics of the criteria, 13 lecturers and 30 students have been picked from the basic sample.
The researcher has used (SPSS) to solve the scientific statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, average, t-test for two examples, measures of central tendency and percentages. Following the research steps and analyzing data and statistics, the researcher has come to conclude that the assessment of online teaching process in the viewpoint of the lecturers is estimated highly in general, the assessment of online teaching process in the viewpoint of the students is estimated poorly, the opinion of the lectures of University of Garmian on online study is negative. In addition, the opinion of the students of University of Garmian on online study is negative
