The topic of this research is (political and cultural status of Sulaymaniyah between March-11th-1970 and March 1974)This research is a specific demonstration of a remarkable period of Sulaymaniyah city which was full of political, cultural, and educational changes and thrives that occurred as a result of liberty which was offered after Iraqi-Kurdish peace agreement.This research consists of two parts.First part; the topic of this part is (political parties and organizations in Sulaymaniyah)This part explains the activities of political parties during that period and their role in encouraging people and enhancing their awareness.Second part; the topic of this part is (journalism and cultural movements of Sulaymaniyah city)In this part we focused on the main journalism activities and roles during that period, we also revealed the activities of theaters, music, acting and other cultural fields in Sulaymaniyah.For accomplishing this research, we depended on many significant and remarkable sources, including (books, magazines, newspapers, documents etc..) along with interview reports from those who witnessed and participated such events as another notable reference.psychology,70 (2),113-147.
