This research is entitled (Reflection of openness cultural in Kurdish music), and it is an attempt to identify and analyze the culture of openness in music, through proofs, poetic examples, and songs in Kurdish folklore of different types and forms. We try to answer these questions:
1- What is the meaning of openness and who used this term?
2- How and where did music come from?
3- Were our Kurdish folk songs closed or open?
       Although the term cultural openness or open society is new in the world, including the Kurds, but it is on the ground and the very same Kurdish life is a reality that is reflected in the life and diaries of our society, and we see its impact in the melodies and lyrics of our folklore songs. What is worth mentioning is that our society was simple and uneducated in the past ages, but it showed all the love and respect for women without any offense to them, and that women were also able to express and show their feelings and feelings freely at a time when that freedom did not exist even in the West. In this way, apart from these aspects, we tried to present another aspect, which is the equality of feelings and feelings between the Kurdish man and woman in front of each other and the absence of any fears of presenting it in front of the opposite sex.
This research consists of two axes, the first axis includes three topics: the culture of openness according to Karl Popper, music as a cultural phenomenon and the history of musical instruments, while the second axis contains three topics as follows: music and Kurdish society, dance and songs.
