It is an attempt to determine in which language depression is used more in the selected poems. The reason behind chosen poems is that they contain different expressions of depression used by English and Kurdish poets. The study consists of 9 sections along with the conclusion and the bibliography. To oxford word power dictionary (204) depression is defined as a feeling of hopeless and unhappiness that stays for a long time. It could be a medical condition and may also have physical symptoms. Due to this, the selected poems have been analyzed.
