Abstract.
Most of the schalars went to Al-Kindi’s School of Philosophy, it was formed from multiple philosophical sources, particularly the Platonic, Aristotelian school and many other philosophies, as if the Islamic philosopher did not embrace any ideas prior to the views he adopted to build his philosophical school. However, this approach is far from al-Kindi and his mental school because he is the one who inspects his philosophical views and finds that he was not only organizing ideas, but was receiving them with caution, especially in metaphysical matters, as he weighed them with the balance of the Holy Qur’an, then praised and formulated them in an Islamic philosophical form, which made him perceptive in his choice of philosophical ideas. As for the natural and mathematical investigations are inseparable from al-Kindi's view from the study of metaphysics, therefore we find him exploiting these two studies in the service of his Qur’anic doctrine or what is called metaphysics as a convincing method to prove metaphysical issues.
